Next Loans take their responsibilities regarding privacy of customer
information very seriously. This policy explains how we use any customer
information and how we protect your privacy.
Why do we need customer information and how do we use it?
When applying for a loan with Next Loans, we need to know your name,
address, telephone and fax numbers, employment and mortgage details. We also
need to know the name of any joint applicants. This information allows us to
process your application and tailor a loan to suit your needs and
circumstances. We ask for your telephone number so that we can contact you
urgently if there is a problem with your application. We use tracking
software to monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us
develop the design and layout of the site. This software does not enable us
to capture any personally identifying information.
What security do we use to protect your information?
When you apply for a loan, we offer the use of secure server software which
encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. This ensures
that the information is reasonably protected against unauthorised
interception. In order to comply with our obligations under the Data
Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998, we also follow strict security procedures
in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to
prevent unauthorised access to that information.
Do Next Loans disclose the information it collects to outside parties?
We never disclose information about a customer to any other person or
organisation without your consent unless there is an emergency situation
that requires it or we are legally required to do so. Next Loans may provide
aggregate statistics about our customers, applications, traffic patterns and
related site information to reputable third-party vendors, but these
statistics will contain no personally identifying information. Next Loans
may use the information collected to obtain credit searches which will be
recorded and disclosed on any future searches carried out by other
companies.
